Visual Merchandiser

Responsibilities:

• Implement and execute visual merchandising plans and strategies

• To create merchandising and product display strategies that set excellent VM standards in the store to support the increase in sales and provide a positive store image.

• Ensure brands are presented in accordance to the principal’s VM requirements and consistency.

• Collaborate with respective brand associates to prepare props and displays for showrooms/ events/ seasonal promotion/ exhibitions/ booths.

• Design window and internal displays based on theme/ advertising guide

• Maintain consistent display of product posters, POPs, banners, window and shop surround or event site.

• Understand the practical needs of VM to maximise product exposure and optimize sales potential.

• Source and liaise with vendors and suppliers for display props, shop fixtures and accessories.

• Ensure showroom displays are in-fashion and appealing.

• Manage and control props inventory.

• Prepare budget for VM activities and ensure cost effectiveness.

• Assist the VM team in merchandising presentation.

• Conduct regular store floor walks to ensure display standards are in accordance with our VM guidelines

• Carry out any other suitable duties as and when assigned by the Company

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Business or equivalent related field studies

• Minimum 1-2 year(s) of working experience in similar capacity and preferably with Retail Industry.

• Creative and innovative thinker

• Good interpersonal and communication skill

• Responsible, committed, meticulous and a team player

• Able to work independently and able to deliver under tight deadlines

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Responsible, committed and meticulous with a positive attitude

• Able to start work within short notice
